Solarfocus Boiler Training in Austria

Posted by Chris on February 9th, 2011 | General News, Solarfocus

Our installers travelled to Steyr in Austria for a 3-day intensive training course in Solarfocus Biomass Systems. This covered technical training for two of the company flagships: Therminator and Pellet Top boilers.

The manufacturing facilities of Solarfocus are modern and very impressive. All activities related to manufacturing both biomass boilers and solar panels are gathered under one roof. Production lines are fully automated and close attention is paid to quality management. We had never seen a better organized boiler manufacturer!

The training sessions were hands-on and gave us invaluable insight into all technical aspects of Solarfocus biomass boilers including their interface, installation and commissioning requirements. As well as this, we had a chance to review the NEW DESIGN Pellet Top boiler and OCTOPLUS boiler, which both have impressive ‘touch screen’ operator controls.

Following the training our systems engineers Gary James and Wayne Child gave very positive feedback, and are now looking forward to installing and servicing Solarfocus boilers back home!

I am impressed with both the quality of the systems and training provided, and am delighted that Evergreen will be working with Solarfocus in future.
