MCZ’s History
The MCZ Group was created in 1975 in Pordenone, Friuli, as part of a business initiative by Silvio Zanette and this artisan manufacturing company immediately set out enthusiastically and dynamically on the road to development. Today Giacomo Zanette, Silvio’son, heads the company, whose aim is the same as it was at the outset: to create high quality products for domestic heating and outdoor cooking, with great attention to investments in innovative technology.
MCZ’s Philosophy
Thanks to its awareness of environmental issues MCZ has always focused on important concepts such as optimising performance with a consequent reduction in fuel consumption and, as a result, costs; two aspects that improve year by year, thanks to constant research and product innovation. Correct combustion is a fundamental condition for guaranteeing safety and savings, both from a domestic point of view and in terms of environmental impact. The rigorous tests carried out by MCZ have earned all its products certifications from the strictest European institutions, like CE EN 14785; art. 15° b-vg, characteristics also requested by environmental guidelines that cheaper products often do not have.
The MCZ headquarters has a surface area of 168,000 m2 housing 250 staff. Each year the company produces more than 150,000 products: barbecues, fires and stoves, distributed in over 35 countries.
