Pellet Feeding Systems
The Biotech boiler features a ‘Daily Pellet Storage Tank’ which is automatically filled from your main pellet store – you don’t need to do anything, the systems controls will monitor the pellet consumption and ensure that the boiler has a constant pellet supply.
We have a wide range of wood pellet storage and feed systems available and will advise you on which is the most appropriate for your property.
Biotech feeding systems use flexible and adaptable suction turbines to transport pellets to your boiler. The suction piping can be fitted around your home’s layout with ease.
Systems Available
Pellet suction probe: It is possible to install multiple suction points to suit the size of the store room.
Auger based system: Ideal for rectangular pellet stores. The store can be almost completely emptied. (wooden or metal bed inclined by 45°).
Rotary auger: Ideal for square shaped stores. Inclined bed not required.
Buried tank: Suitable for space saving in new buildings.
Bulk bag storage: Easy to assemble system without any requirement for building modifications.
The Pellet Storage System – PLS
The Biotech PLS 2.2 is a highly efficient and cost effective pellet storage system. Developed specifically for situations where space is an issue, it’s capable of storing high volumes of pellets whilst occupying little space.
A long operational lifetime and easy re-filling are ensured due to its unique anti-wear protected surface.
